Sometimes the things we need most are the most difficult to accept. Being stubborn is the easiest way to deal with the help you'd rather not use.
Friends have a funny way of changing your mind though; at least mine do. To all of my friends I say thank you for the quirky, the funny, the sweet, the dramatic, the silly, the caring, the fun people that you are. You are my family.
